    Hi

    Looking for some partition software.

I would like to be able to create, resize and merge partitions and also I would like to be able to view how many partitions are on a computer and their allocated space.

    Thanks for any suggestions

I like Partition Wizard because it allows you to burn a free bootable CD in case you have to access partitions when your computer won't boot.

Easeus Partition Master is a slightly more powerful program in that it can convert Dynamic Disks back to Basic Disk (rarely used but it is one of the only free programs that can do this).

Either is good; or get both and burn the PW bootable disc for emergencies and use whichever program you prefer the interface of when in Windows.

    Hello Sach2

Thank you for the quick response and recommendations. You saved me a lot of time researching because I wasn't sure which programme to use. Will check them both out.

    Cheers.

Are you running XP as Vista W7 can partition drives very well and up or down as opposed to XP's ability only to grow into an empty partition that's next to it.
