Recommendation for free speech forums?

    On YouTube I have heard mention of forums that discuss and debate what they call free speech on the internet. Which is basically people who are for the freedom to post whatever they want whether it be movies, or just to sing your favorite song as badly as you can on YouTube etc.... But I can't find any specif mention of these forums. It is somewhat prohibited here. So does anyone know of an active forum that discusses these things?

    Ahh, don't see movies and songs as being HBT.

    If you get into politics, then google, or find a forum that allows 'learned discussion'.

    It actually is a pretty big HBT at the moment, what with the proposed SOPA legislation. ;)

    I'd google SOPA and see where it takes you. I know there are a number of groups on Facebook having debates about it.

    Ya especially since Sony, MS and another big company moved to the anti-SOPA side.

    @ brahman As to a suggestion, google is your friend. I used to belong to one years ago but I've since lost the link. It was a good site too as the intellectual discussions were respectful without any bashing. Try this one on for size http://secularcafe.org/forumdisplay.php?f=3

    I would tread lightly if at all here on this topic of posting what you like in relation to anything that maybe under copyright, this is not a hobby site but a business, those free speech sites can just be taken off line and then start up again with new names etc, this one is not like that.

    Hot discussions and debate dont see to mix with this site for some reason, maybe its because we are more geared for helping PC problems first and foremost and more for hot discussions lead to tempers flaring and folk being banned etc for taking things too far, so best not to cover those topics as the status quo is not so bad in last 12mths.

    Interesting. I was not aware of the SOPA thing. Could certainly turn HBT. :-D Did a little quick reading on that SOPA thing Sgt Tibbs, thanks for the info.
