Recommendation To Replace Home Stereo

My 6 year old Onkyo has stopped reading CD's.
It is next to impossible to buy a 5 CD player of any quality....:confused

I could get wireless and stream with icecast.

Those are components, not a system

I am interested in the thoughts of wireless speakers to stream from computer using something like Windows Media Edition or XMBC. I don't need a DVD player, only audio CD.

The Apple TV box ($99 at Newegg) also has good reviews; however it won't play WMA music files and requires iTunes software on the PC to work.

Sigh...too bad you don't live in Houston. I just built a HTPC and have a Yamaha 5 disc CD changer in perfect shape I'd sell dirt cheap. :cry
