I would like a few suggestions for a good power supply. I need 500 watts (+/- 25W), and it can't be more than $70. What are some good ideas?

I hear Sparkle and Enlight are decent brands. I have bought their PSUs for past projects, but what's funny is since this is for me, I haven't the first clue. My old TruePower 380W that came with the Sonata failed on me, but since I have more crap than it can really power (about 380-400W worth of equip), it's time I take care of my PC. :)

    Thanks very much.

Try Rosewill they are cheap but I am always amazed at the quality.

I'll have to agree with Asus on this one. I just purchased one for my new P180 case and it is nice. It's quiet, powerful and the fact that it is modular is a plus. It sure helps cut down on the 'cable clutter.' I had just purchased an Antec 430TP less than 3 months ago, but with the rather unique interior design of the P180 I had to get the SP500 for the extra cable length. Good Luck!!!:)
