Record for most pests found with Pestpatrol?

I recently helped an internet friend clean an incredibly
infected computer up via messenger (10 hours!!).
Well anyway I had her run my favorite anti-spyware app,
Pestpatrol and it got, get this, 6,400 hits!!!
I am not kidding. Six thousand four hundred spyware hits.
She was running an XP machine on high speed cable modem
for around 12-15 hours a day for a year and a half with
no anti-spyware/adware utility. She did have an outdated
Norton antivirus running, so we only found 4 viruses (via a new
copy of Norton).
But Adaware SE found several hundred critical hits as did
Spybot S&D also.
I just wondered if anybody has ever seen a machine that was
that loaded up?

 

As high as 6,400 hits on Pestpatrol? Holy cow, what do these people
do on these computers??
I guess the anti-spyware companies should
be thanking Microsoft for active-x.
I wonder if Longhorn is going to stubbornly stick with active-x?
