Record TV Using Windows 7 Media

    After doing some research I found that it is possible to record TV on a laptop using Windows 7 Media Center.

    Does this require a TV Tuner ?

    I am using over-the-air antenna and can hook my laptop up to the TV.
    I purchased a Dell XPS17, but haven't received it yet. I was looking into ways to record a few programs for later viewing, and then erasing them. I don't want to make VHS tapes or a DVD.
