Recording software

Hey i would really appreciate it if i could get some kind of program like fraps exept it would be nice if it didnt make ur FPS go down so much.
plz help

 

I've done some research in the past into such things: Fraps is the best software solution thats free right now. If you configure your display settings to have a lower resolution, it has to do less processing and therefore your FPS doesn't go down nearly as much. Besides, the video you'll be watching will be very small compared to your whole screen: a high res wouldn't help that much.

A solution which doesn't affect your FPS at all: hardware. Plug a camcorder or somthing into a video out on your graphics card, record. Then somehow capture the video back into your PC for editing.
