Recover deleted Pictures

    I have no idea where to post my problem

    I had folder of pictures from a party on my desktop and I shift+del it how can I get the folder back? I haven't restarted my computer
    I have windows XP Pro 64bit version 2003 sp2

    You could try using Recuva Portable 1.37.488 .

    maybe I am doing something wrong, the folder had pictures in it on my desktop and the program that scanned my computer doesn't list it anywhere
    what am i doing wrong? please tell me what to do

    You could try the suggested Recuva (download link HERE) but also try one of the below also,

    Glary Undelete
    PC Inspector Smart Recovery

    but do bare in mind that you will have to recover to a seperate drive, be it a 2nd HDD, External HDD, USB Pen or CDRW/DVDRW as recovering to the drive with the deleted pictures on can cause the newly recovered pictures to overwrite the space marked by the deleted pictures from the Bin as space allowocated by the Bin as free is nto used until its needed by other applications or new deleted objects.
