recovery from Windows 10

I tried the free upgrade for Windows 10 & wasn't happy with how it worked. I recovered to Win 7 Premium. Now I have no internet. the trouble shooter says there is a problem with the WiFi network connection adapter & the local area connection adapter drivers. I tried system restore but I can't get a restore point past 4 o'clock today! I also can't get the system restore option to return the computer to original factory settings. I can't even get my old PC to download a new driver from the manufactures site to a flash drive. I also had the same problem another writer had in that Avast free won't open Google, or several other sites with Win 10, saying the certificates or invalid. anyone have any ideas? I also tried to hook directly to the router but I can't get a LAN connection either.

 

Download the drivers on another PC, open your device manager and completely uninstall your network adapter drivers, then reboot. Reinstall your drivers after it reboots.

 

Did that, device manager says it's working properly, still can't get on line.I have only limited connectivity showing. Still can't connect using a LAN cable from the router although this PC is connected & working. My laptop was fine until I tried to uninstall Win 10. I've also run SAS, Malwarebytes & Avast free & nothing was found.

 

I finally got into system recovery & restored the laptop to original factory settings. everything seems to be working again. thanks!
