Recovery help

:confused haven't had the need to visit here for a long time,so hello to all.
problem: how do i do an entry to get an .exe back in?

why? because i had to do a recovery(again) on a presairo sr1110nx with windows home xp installed(new system in 2004!!!)
the particular .exe is the following-----reader_sl.exe
this pops up after each re-start from down loading updates of service packs from
microsoft.

Try reinstalling Adobe Reader.
