Recycle Bin

I have win7. 64Bit and I had a lot of Files in my Recycle Bin.

I Right Clicked on a File in my Recycle Bin and then Picket Restore from the List.
I thought it was another File I did not want to do this to anything other then what I thought it was.

So it let the Recycle Bin and restored it to wherever it was before.

I do not know where is was before.

Is there any way I can find Retored Files?

Or is this one thing you can not do?

I do not know the name of the File the only thing I remember is it was a PDF File and I clicked Restore and I did not meen to.

Without the name of the file you are not going to have much luck.

Just be more careful in future about restoring deleted files. If they are meant to be deleted then regularly empty the Recycle Bin

 

Click the file and above the Taskbar you'll see it's original location.

Try your favorite search utility, Search for "*.pdf". Give it a few minutes. When it's done, click on the date column and see if it's on the top of the list.

 

Doesn't work in my Win 7, restoring a file from the bin doesn't change its date.

 

Then it's the old manual method if not many in the list. Or leave it and maybe somehow you'll run into it again and remember 'Hey, I thought I deleted that'
