I have the Red Hat 9 CD's and I am trying to install them into VMware so that I can get to know Red Hat, and UNix better but it keeps crashing during the install. I only alloted 256MB of RAM, so I thought I would install it as a 2nd OS. I have System commander that did the partions for me, and the dual boot, but I think I need floppies to start the Linux install.

How do I make Red Hat Boot floppies from WIndows?? Is this the answer?

Where can I get the current version of Red Hat? I know ftp://ftp.redhat.com but there are sub folder ans such that I don't know that much about what they stand for.
