Red Squares instead of .gif files

    When I go to sites such as ebgames.com or weather.com all of the .gif images are replaced by deep red boxes. I searched on the net for over an hour and cannot find anything on this problem. They are not white boxes with red x's or image symbols. Can anyone please help?

    Welcome to Major Geeks. If you're using Internet Explorer go to Tools -> Internet Options, click the Advanced Tab go down and under Multimedia verify "Show Pictures" is checked.
