Redirector

Hi Everyone,

Just a message about google redirectors. For weeks I suffered with this fiend and that I use Win98 I was virtually alone as there is no spyware killer nor app that will assist Win98 as it is an ancient OS. However, I do have something to share. I found it within d/l's of flash I had done within Adobe/media directories.
What I didn't find was the redirector cause it was buried way deep within the registry, and no reg cleaner would touch it. What I did find that suspiciously it only redirected when using mozilla. So after clenaing out the flash d/l's I deleted the complete mozilla files and did a clean in the reg searching for anything that had key words ( Mozilla or firefox). I rebooted and went back to the reg again and doing a search I found more Mozilla and firefox entries. I have no inclination of what that meant, however I used IE for a few weeks without issue. I recently reinstalled Firefox ( 2.0.0.20 is the newest that Win98 will tolerate. You can find old history of Firefox versions on the net. So its been 3 weeks now and no redirector issues of bouncing back to google every other search . Not that I am critical of the gurus at MG or any of the places where I had asked for help, as Win98 is a gone thing. But I hope this tidbit of info will help others that might suffer the same issues. Mainly I would surmise that I got the fiend while agreeing to flash upgrades. So beware!!!!
