Am I entitled to an unlimited number of reformats using the same serial key with Windows Vista?

    Hi

If your hardware has not been radically changed on a given PC and you are not trying to install Vista on multiple PCs then re-formatting generally multiple times is fine, you may if you are doing it alot, have Windows Activation Server block your activation, forcing you to give them a phonecall to activate, reason is it may just think someone is activating the same serial on multiple PCs.

I get a blocked activation at times due to re-installing Windows alot while I'm testing or just messing around with the OS, its rare but happened a few times and the Windows Activation Center sort it out quickly, just have to tell them what you are doing.
