Reformatting WinXP without having to activate again?

    Hello all.

    I have decided to reformat my PC, which is running on WinXP, but I have lost the product key and I don't think i'm going to buy another WinXP CD just to get a key, so is there any way to do this?

    Contact MS for a replacement key. As of earlier this year the cost was 10 dollars USD.
