What is the advantage/perks of having a higher refresh rate? Ive seen programs which force higher refresh rates and am kinda wondering what advantage that would give you, if any. Thx.

Higher refresh rates (in CRT's) give you less eye strain.

Generally, 75 Hz or up is the minimum you should have.

If you can get it any higher I would try. If it's a laptop it probably wont go above 60.

i tried raising it to 75 with refresh force but it just made the image blurry...any better programs to use?

    your monitor doesn't support 75hz.

75Hz is the minimum for CRT's, as I posted, not LCD's.

You don't need 75Hz, just leave it on it's native rate.
