Refresh

    Hello, I have a small question. It's nothing special but I would like to sort it out. Whenever I delete a file, although the file gets deleted successfully, I can still see it in my folder. I must right click -> refresh to see it properly removed. This is something I see for the first time all these years and I would like to know the reason. It doesn't happen in every folder, I have seen it only in MyPictures folder. Also when I download a file at my desktop I don't see it right away. I need to refresh my desktop for the file to appear. Anyone can enlighten me?

    Oh nevermind, problem solved.

    I went to Folder Options:
    General Tab -> Restore Defaults
    View Tab -> Reset All Folders
    and Advanced Settings -> Restore Defaults.
    -Win XP
