regcure question

i downloaded this free software trial thing saying i have 840+ errors on it but they wont get rid of them all just like 15 or somthing but they give me the name of the bad file if i were to search it on "my computer" and delete it myself would that be bad and/or damage my computer or will it be good for my computer and wallet lol.

Remove the trial software! Many times these programs are malware in disguise. If you need a good FREE registry cleaner, download CCleaner Slim from Major Geeks; use the Issues button to scan the registry. BE CAREFUL with reg cleaning! Cleaning the wrong keys can really screw things up! CCleaner allows for reg backups before removing entries so it's pretty safe to use. Another good tool is Advanced Window Care XP.... check it out!

Going into your Registry and deleting keys without knowing what they are there for might render your Operating System useless. You can cause severe damage and have to reinstall your system.

If you understand why the keys are no longer needed you can get rid of them manually. Make a back up of your Registry before you do anything and make absolutely sure you are removing a useless key. If you dont know why you are deleting something dont do it.
