I had the error outlined in this article:
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;886549

the article says that the key type should be reg_expand_sz, the registry type on the computer is reg_sz. So as a two part question, will I need to change every key in the specified area? As an example: %userprofile%\Application Data the %userprofile% is that a varible for the person reading the article to substitute the current username, or is it varible the computer needs and will automatically substitute the current username?

The problem appears to have started from a bad Money 2002 System Pack install.

I did everything in the article and it went down from like 6 Error1606 popping up to just one.

    Any ideas?
Also I used %userprofile% instead of typing the username if that helps anyone in troubleshooting

Sorry forgot to mention this. The values all reverted to just reg_sz except for one under each key I was supposed to edit.
