My old laptop died so yesterday so I bought a new one. I installed a copy of MS Word 2002 onto the new XP laptop. Today I tried to use that Word for the first time and clicked Accept for the EULA box and entered the long Product Key. The response was that I need to call in and register in next 49 days. I passed for now and opened Word and created and saved a 1-word test document okay. THEN I realized I have used the wrong copy of Word, one my son now uses in college. I'd look terrible in prison attire. (1) Do I have to contact MS and 'splain myself? Or can I just delete Word and wait 50 days before I try to load the correct copy I have from my old, dead laptop? (2) And just how do you contact MS for this kind of problem?

This is not the end of the world.
Just delete the program and install the proper one.
