registry change/mcafee spam scan

I have the latest security suite installed, Mcafee. every so often it gives me a message like this: Macrovision Corporation
Affected Items: C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\UpdateService\ISUSPM.exe, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\ISUSPM Startup

how am I supposed to know whether to block theses? (I did block this one....)

Second, what is the trick to prevent mcafee from scanning my outlook emails (existing inbox) about every other time I open it?????

You need to learn what software you have installed on your system. This is part of an automatic software update package that you have installed. If you don't want to use this software then uninstall it. This is not a topic for the malware forum since it is not malware.

This is also not a topic for the Malware Forum. Try the Software Fourm otherwise look at you options in McAfee or if you never want to have it scan you email, uninstall that feature.
