I first noticed this when i tried to uninstall a program with Uninstaller! (a program that removes all registry keys and references left behind by a programs uninstaller). It was scanning the registry for stuff a program may have left behind it it came across a key at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Monitorizare" and then the program froze and i had to end its process. So i opened regedit to check it out, but when i click on the key regedit freezes and i have to end its process also. Wtf is going on?! I tried searching the internet but Monitorizare is monitor in another language so i can't find anything. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What program were you trying to uninstall?
Why didn't you try using Add/Remove programs? Or was that already tried and it was not completed?

Let's see if you have malware problems. Please follow the steps below:

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

I have done everything in the tutorial and I still have the same problem. Heres the log file from HijackThis:

See step 3 of the READ & RUN ME again. You have both AVG7 and Symantec installed.

Also check what I said for HijackThis again. You did not follow those instructions.

However, there is no need right now to post a new HJT log! You system shows no apparent signs of malware based purely upon a HJT log.

You could try removing the below restrictions which could cause problems with registry editing:
    O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions present
    O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present

Also you could try to do your uninstall and regedit steps (after doing the above) but do them in safe mode.

Other than that or doing more scans (which probably will not find anything) I would check in the Software Forum. Perhaps this item is related to a software item you have running (which there is a ton of).
