when doing a scan I have found wildtangent and IBIS hunt toolbar they are registry keys and data miner but I cant locate them in my windows explorer, they say that they are located in software/fold manager and software/wildtangent but I dont see such a thing, how would I locate it and delete it without having to do the disable system restore thing.

    thanks

Do you like being told to run the READ & RUN ME all the time???

Please stay in one thread until your malware problems with your PC are resolved. I don't understand why you keep starting new threads when you have not finished the previous ones.

no I dont like to run the read me first because to me it sounds so complicated and I get lost on that, so if someone tells me how to do it I do a better job of fixing my problem, sorry for starting a new thread didnt think about attaching it to my BSZIP.DLL question, but like you said once before, I learned something, I really dont have much experience with these stupid people that attach malware to my computer, It really is a pain in the ass to have to get rid of these intruders, even though I take every possible precaution to not get them, but someway they seem to sneak on in and now I can't seem to locate them, but what I dont understand is if I have good spyware installed, spysweeper, ad-aware and spybot, why dont they catch them, I ran xoftspy and it found them but you cant remove them unless you buy there product, and I have all the latest updates! I am just totally confused.

My point was that each time you begin a thread about malware problems, you will more than likely be greeted with the boiler plate to run the READ & RUN ME. So since you are already working on this PC with BJ, all problems with malware on it belong in the thread with BJ. If you have not run the READ & RUN ME, you need to run it or you are wasting our time and yours. Bj asked you to run it and attach all the requested logs. We cannot help you to fix your PC if you cannot help us by following the directions given to you. Yes the READ & RUN ME can look complicated but it is not and has been broken down into step by step procedures. Start at the being and work thru each step slowly. Hundreds of novices do it each week. It is not that difficult as long as you read and follow the directions.

Did you purchase Xoftspy yet? If not, uninstall it. It is not that useful. If you did purchase it, ask them why they don't fix what they found. Spy Sweeper is a much better application but like Xoftspy and others you must buy it. You must not run Spy Sweeper and Xoftspy long term. One of them must go.
