Is registry mechanic a good program to have a run regularly or is it a potential disaster for my computer.
I have used it before and it seemed alright, i was just womdering whether anyone knows whether it is a good program for fixing your registry if there are any problems.
    Thanks

I've liked Registry Mechanic's results, but it has caused problems for me. As long as you back up the registry before "fixing", you should be fine, anyway.

MA is right though... CCleaner's registry cleaner is probably the safest. I've NEVER had a problem with that, and I've used it MUCH more often than Registry Cleaner.

    HI!
I bought Registry Mechanic and was not pleased with it in the end.
You have to be careful when running it and it caused me a few problems. Luckily I had backed up!
    I don't 'trust' it.
I agree...CCleaner is a good reg cleaner and all around cleaning tool. I've never had a problem with it.
