Registry Mistake

Any other idea's or have we hit the wall? Also as a final thought. Is there ANY way that can overwrite my reg to the original set by only adding keys that might be deleted , WITHOUT changing everything that has been added since the original install.That would seem the logical choice to solve my problem , I would think. While you are waiting for possible solutions/ideas, I would go to the link below and follow the steps for Spyware. This could be the result of some type of malware. Just a thought.

I did do as requested by chaslang.Found a problem in Spybot. Gives a "dangerous problem" with BearShare. Can't find any entries in reg or files finding BearShare.Spybot wants a buy to remove. If I thought it MIGHT fix this problem I would buy. I know this is getting stale so back to the question that I keep asking. Is there a way to overwrite a reg in XP-pro with the orig install reg and not change or alter in any way the existing reg that has been in place since its inseption, just replace any blown up entries.No one has ans that as yea or na.
