I keep windows on one HD and my programs (games) on another. I had to reformat my windows drive, and now all my games (or at least the few I tried) still run, but they aren't registered with windows, in other words they don't show up in Start menu, add/remove programs, etc.

Is there a way to re-register the programs with Windows?

Naturally, when you you formatted the Windows drive, any and all links and references to the other drive were wiped out. You can create shortcuts to the games and put the shortcuts in the start menu and on the desktop, but I think that's about it. The only way to get the games to re-appear in Add/Remove Programs would be to reinstall them. To create a shortcut, just right-click on the program and select "Send To > Desktop (create shortcut)". You can then right click the shortcut and select "Pin to Start Menu" and the shortcut will now appear on the Start Menu also.
