I'm running on Window XP. When I try to do a scandisk my computer shuts down and reboots. I found that when running Norton WinDoctor this happens when I specifically try to run a "Windows Registry Scan: Uninstall Section."

I have tried cleaning the registry with PAL Registry Cleaner, but this did not solve the problem.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
