Registured windows too many times

Hey, I'm having a problem with windows xp saying my key code has been registured on too many computers, My hard drive just went out on me yesterday , it started giving me the clicks of death so I got it in the freezer right now seeing if i can get some data off it. Anyways so I tried to reinstall windows on my new hard drive I bought and it tells me i have to use a diffrent one. I've had this computer for 3 years and I replaced just about everything in it now. Does anyone know if theres anything that I can do or get microsoft to do so that I can keep using this legitimate copy, I dont want to pirate but if they try to tell me i have to pay more money to keep using it, whos stealing from who here eh?

 

major attitude is right... I did exactly what he said not to long ago. They gave me a new number on the spot.

 

awesome thanks guys, I didnt think it would be just that simple, guess im used to being abused by customer service a lot of times, any time i have computer problems you guys always come through thanks much ^_^
