Reimage

Does anybody use the "Reimage" program ?

Yes. Bought it, ran it on my wife's Laptop.... Windows XP Home Edition, solved the issues!

$40 or so, laptop was ALWAYS running too hot, fan on medium to high. Blame the kids for downloading and running too many games, etc.

I tried everything: CheckDisk, then Auslogic's DeFrag, Uninstalled all toolbars and any other junk with Revo-Uninstaller, McAfee Full Virus Scan, Malware Bytes full scan (purchased Mal-Ware bytes & worth every penny)...

Still ran too hot, most of day.

Bought Re-Image.... reimaged, patched about 55 Windows updates afterwords, it has ran like new ever since.

I am impressed. Reimage gets my vote!

 

I did use it and solved all of the problems. I got the 3 keys licenses ($23 / per key). In one case I did finish with Malwarebytes, Combofix and mgtools. Works great and better if running in safe mode with networking.
