    Who is behind pushing this crap on thousands of websites?
    And why does Google and Microsoft do nothing?

    Probably because it brings in $$$ with all the ads on google and Bing

    It also appears Reimage isn't afraid to spread the money around. They get glowing reviews all over the place including on PCWorld and I highly suspect those are paid reviews. PCWorld calls it "miracle" software. Yea, right. That's not unbiased at all...

    But yea, Reimage pays a premium for advertising. Enough that advertisers look the other way on complaints from consumers.

    Unfortunately laws around tech are still either really weak or non-existent. Reimage isn't breaking any laws so without some sort of class action lawsuit brought in a country (I believe the owners are based in the middle east?) that probably has even weaker laws than the US their (Reimage) money is more powerful than our complaints.

    When people come to the forum with internet access problems and they have reimage installed, once it is removed, their problems seem to vanish like a miracle.
