you are missing the drivers listed. more info about your computer would help

you can run a hardware report with everest, and attach it here if you need assistance with finding the proper drivers.

or if you haven't changed any hardware on that computer, then you can just post the model (if it's store-bought) here.

There are over 20 different dv8000 laptops; we need the exact model number. It will be on a small white sticker on the bottom of the laptop. This sticker will have the "dv8000" on it, some other numbers, and the true model number which will be something like "dv8040us". Also, attaching an Everest report to a future post as requested above by thesmokingun would be helpful too, more info about Everest and how to create and post the report can be found at this link.

    Hi

Cheers for the log and updated info it really does help narrow down drivers for us.

The drivers for your PC are HERE install the Chipset drivers first... then reboot (important you reboot), then the network driver, both Wifi and LAN.

Then tell us whats still missing in Device Manager?

Indeed I'd go with that also, but could also use Windows inbuilt driver finder to see if the Windows driver cab has this, enter Device Manager and double click this missing device and then click Driver tab and then update driver.
