RemAdm-ProcLaunch!171 removal

I have read all the threads concerning removal of the RemAdm-ProcLaunch!171 that was installed with the ComboFix program. I removed the ComboFix but McAfee still comes up with the ProcLaunch every time it scans my computer and it won't remove it. It tells me this program cannot be completely removed. I am also wondering why MalWare Bytes, Hijacker, and AdAware do not detect this program. How can I get rid of it or how can I tell McAfee to disregard it, and is it harming my computer or slowing it down in any way? Thanks for your help.

McAfee is reporting a false positive....it is not harmful. I don't know how or where you installed ComboFix, but you can delete the ComboFix.exe file, C:\ComboFix folder, C:\QooBox folder, C:\WINDOWS\nircmd.exe, C:\combofix.txt and C:\ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt logs that was created.

It is a file created by Process explorer.

You will have to tell me the exact path that McAfee is reporting.

thanks Tim W. for responding to my post. It's good to know the file is not harmful to my computer. here's the file path McAfee is reporting:

C:\System Volume Information\_restore{49CF443F-2F2D-47D0-B4C8-49F59E69E53C}\RP47\A0009402.exe

Again, that is in the system restore files and can only be removed by toggling system restore.

Right click my computer / properties / system restore...uncheck the box..apply...exit out and reboot....go back and re-check the box.
