I remember it well. It still plays on TV1 on pay T.V. It did get a bit 'old' after a while. I heard somewhere else that Dick York was an alcoholic, which may well have contributed to his demise, if true.

I was a young teen at the time, maybe 14. Man, did that Liz Montgomery stir the flames!:drool:innocent:-D

 

I know i am a young kid to you Old Goat herders. But i know that show quite well like many others and i always wondered why they did that. Thanks for the truth. Just like Other shows like Airwolf in the span of one show Kate was gone, Archangel too, Dom died, String i guess died, the layer goes from a dirt room to a high tech room with a landing pad, and computers everywhere. its like WTH were they thinking.

 

I agree N5638J about Airwolf. When the show was cancelled in 1987 it was picked up by the USA Network and that's when the show went downhill! They changed everything, including the actors and the lair. After all, you can't keep a billion dollar, high-tech helicopter in a dormant volcano:-D In the USA Networks version, Airwolf never flew but rather they used the flying scenes from the first 3 seasons to fill in the flying\action scenes. All She did was sit on Her pad and look pretty in the 4th season! I collected the first 3 seasons of Airwolf on DVD, but have no desire to get the 4th season. They ruined the whole premise of the original Airwolf, IMO!
