Remnants of Virus; keeps recreating .tmp file?

A few months ago my brother got a virus on my computer. He claimed he got it from downloading a plugin which was linked through a video on "myspace videos." It was called "virusheat" or something. It took me a day or so to get rid of it and tie up as many loose ends as possible. It came with an installer and everything, I couldn't believe how bad it was. (for me, I'm not very good at getting rid of viruses, I just know the basics) None the less I thought it was gone besides these temp files...

Either way every time I run registry mechanic since then it always picks up these 2 or more random files in the user/local settings/temp folder.


C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Temp\D1B5B4F1.TMP

This is one of them, I have been having issues with my computer since then but can not tell if it is hardware related. (garbage phenom processor) Or software. If anyone knows anything about files reoccurring in the temp folder or if this is malicious?

Spybot and AVG come up blank.
