Well since you did not post a log that shows what ZoneAlarm found, it is difficult to answer your questions. Many products have false detections and also many times users also misread what they are being told. It is a commerical tool and is not malware. It is just something that could be used for activities of questionable intent. Are you sure that the above was really found? If it really was that application it, you could just uninstall it via Add/Remove programs. Yes ISP's also do sometimes install tools like this to help them perform support functions on your PC if needed. The problem is that they don't tell people about this software being installed and they don't tell you that you don't need it. Also they should only activate it when/if it is every needed. In addition most new PCs with Windows XP don't need it anyway since XP has a remote desktop feature builtin.
