remove a program

I want to remove Sonic Stage 3.0 from our computer. When I click on remove in Add/Remove programs, error says "setup.exe has encountered a problem and it won't let me remove the program. There is not a remove link in the startup menu.

 

Try this program. It will find the uninstall string and should remove it.

Tried that program as well. When I go to uninstall SonicStage, the error pops up that "Sonic has encountered an error and needs to close" with an option to "debug" or "close". All routes taken end up with program still installed.

 

Make sure the program is not running. Check if it has any services running in Start > All Programs > Admin Tools > Services

If it does Disable them.

Do you just use it to transfer music to an MP3 or does it have a player installed with it? If it does uninstall the player and make media player your default program.

Go into Program Files folder and delete the SonicStage folder and then try to uninstall the program.
