    Hallo

I am still having problems with my notebook, here is the link to my previous thread http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=203001&highlight=tadpole

I did another reformat, used the web to update my drivers, and only used the Hewlett Packard drivers for my machine that I could not find elsewhere - this was an attempt to make sure I only used the latest drivers. I did not install the drivers for my nvidia geforce 8m series GS. My machine worked fine apart from being a bit fuzzy after first boot of the day, but that cleared after 10 mins or so. That lasted 5 days. Today it would not clear, so I installed the latest driver for nvidia. I rebooted and got a blank screen. I used a vista recovery disk, and that reported that "A recent driver or upgrade may be preventing the system from starting". I rebooted and chose "last good configuration"

I do not use the notebook to play games, watch tv or video's, so do I need this graphics card? I just need to be able to view my scrren! Do you think removing it from the machine would stop this fuzzy problem? if so, where abouts do I find it?

Attached is a screen shot of my screen when it is fuzzy, but still just readable.

    Please could someone advise me.

PS. I have just rechecked nvidia and found a beta driver update dated 4/12/2009 for my card, I will give it a try, but would still like any advice anyone can please give me.

    Thanks

PPS cannot see to attach my screen shot!

Notebooks do not usually have removable graphics card, they have a video chip soldered on the board. It is NOT removable.
