Remove networking software?

    I have got a 4-5 year old old Sony Vaio laptop from work, whcih I would like to remove the netwroking functionality from it, how do I do this without losing other drivers for wifi and bluetooth etc.?

    Can you be more specific? Was the laptop setup for printer and file sharing at work? Do you want to disable those?

    Any folder that's been marked for sharing can be disabled by right clicking on the folder, selecting Properties, select the Sharing tab, and change settings there.

    For printers, go to Control Panel, Printers and Faxes, and see what's there. If one or more printers from work still appear there, just right click on them and Delete them.

    Thanks for reply.
    No, I know how to share/unshare folders & printers.
    Its setup to enter username and password and logon to a network when booted up.
    But I want remove this so I can set it up to join my home network, and change the workgroup.
    I can logon to it at the moment, but due to lack of privileges set up originally by our IT team, am unable to get access to system settings....help!
