Remove Sun ODF Plugin for Microsoft Office

Dear Forum,

First post so please excuse if it is in the wrong section.

How can I ensure that an ODF add-on for Word has been completely removed?

- Downloaded a Word ODF add-on (Sun ODF Plugin for Microsoft Office)
- Uninstalled it (apparently successfully) from Add/Remove programmes
- Under the file menu in Word there are still 'Open ODF', 'Save as ODF' and 'ODF Options'
- Clicking on these options has no effect
- No ODF add-ons are listed in Add/Remove programmes
- Open Office itself is not installed
- Search of the hard drive reveals these directories which are still there:

1. c:\documents and settings\user\application data\SunODFPluginforMicrosoftOffice
(This directory has sub-directories 1, user, basic, standard, config, registry, cache, data, org, openoffice, office, soffice.cfg, modules, swriter, images, menubar, statusbar and toolbar)

2. c:\program files\sun\tempmicbatchfile (this is the only file in this directory)

Would appreciate your suggestions or advice.

PS: Why was it so much easier to uninstall (ie. delete) stuff in DOS?

programme gone.
