This is for those who have encountered the "fraud.sysguard" issue. I THINK I've removed it and recovered fully today, no new issue yet. I was locked out of internet access and couldn't run anything just like everybody else. I restarted my system and was able to bring up taskmgr very quickly before it locked me out. I then ended the process "qfbhttpshdw.exe" and also deleted it from the 'application data' folder in my docs and settings file, and also removed it with Spybot. I appeared to be free from the offender but still couldn't access the internet. I solved that by going into 'network connections' in 'network and internet connections', right clicked on 'local area network' and used the 'repair' option. Everything is fine now, but I am taking the advice from others I've since read online and am about to clear out the system restore points bcuz this thing apparently writes itself to that as well. Also, I've been using IE but will at least download another browser for backup, if not use it all together. Good luck, I was down for a few days until I had the free time to deal with this thing.
