Removed VZ.exe (Vista Guard), Now Serious Problems

    I recently found myself bogged down by the Ad/Mal/Spyware called Vista Guard. I have Kasperky 2011 fully updated but it only listed it as a low threat. Malwarebyes was able to remove it, running under VZ.exe.

    Now that I deleted VZ.exe it seems that I cannot open any programs with the exception on Internet Explorer here. It asks me to search for the program to open anything and everything with. Everything from Google Chrome to World of Warcraft to Windows Security Alerts.

    What do I do, guys?

    Try this.

    Download the below file to your Desktop. Once saved on your Desktop, Right click on it and select Install

    EXEfix

    Then see ifyou can run EXE files.
