I believe I followed the steps in the read me first sticky, and Panda found two items. Here are the panda and hijack logs.
    Thanks in advance,
    andrew

[EDIT]Due to vb login issue, attachments removed and attached using the manage attachments method per the READ & RUN ME FIRST. [/EDIT]

Hi quirk.:) Please be sure to use follow the HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post linked in the the READ & Run guide. There is a vb issue that logs us out of the system and makes it difficult to view attachments when people use the paper clip to attach items to posts. Added to that, if it is used to attach images many cannot view them at all.:(

I see in your HJT log that you did run the Bitdefender scan. Please attach the report from that also.

Thanks for the quick response Abby!
    1. Bitdefender found nothing, so should I reboot in safe mode and try again to get a log, or will I have to repeat all steps?
    2. I apologize for incorrectly attaching the logs, but when I tried to preview the attachments, they were not visible.

Thanks again, and I'm sorry for being-
    the big dumb animal;)

Oh please, no need to apologize:)...you obviously were unaware of the little paper clip issue. As for previewing them, as long as they show up in the 'current attachments' field as shown in the screen shots in the 'how to', they will be there when you submit your post.

If Bitdefender didn't find anything than I doubt the guys will need to see it.

One of the Malware Fighters will be along to assist you with the next step as soon as they can. I just mainly help out with making sure everything is in place so they can just get busy with the nitty gritty steps.:)

    Thanks again Abby,
I'm not in a hurry, as zone alarm tends to keep most of the bad stuff from doing worse things.

Make sure viewing of hidden files is enabled (per the tutorial).

Run HijackThis and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = 127.0.0.1
    O15 - Trusted Zone: http://www.neededware.com
    O16 - DPF: NDWCab - http://www.neededware.com/ndw3.cab

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.
Boot into safe mode and use Windows Explorer to delete:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\WinStat10.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\WinStat11.dll

If you get an error when deleting a file. Right click on the file and check to see if the read only attribute is checked. If it is, uncheck it and try again. Other wise open Task Manager and kill the process if running then delete the file.

Now if running Win XP goto c:\windows\Prefetch and delete all files in this folder.
Now run Ccleaner (installed while running the READ ME FIRST).

Now we need to Reset Web Settings:
    1. If you have an Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop, goto step 2. If not, skip to step 3.
    2. Now right click on your desktop Internet Explorer icon and select Properties. Then click the Programs tab and then click "Reset Web Settings". Now go back to the General tab and set your home page address to something useful like www.majorgeeks.com. Click Apply. Click Delete Cookies, Click Delete Files and select Delete all Offline content too, Click OK. When it finishes Click OK. Then skip step 3.
    3. If you do not have an Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop, click Start, Control Panel (for some systems it may be Start, Settings, Control Panel), Internet Options, Programs tab and then click "Reset Web Settings". Now go back to the General tab and set your home page address to something useful like www.majorgeeks.com. Click Apply. Click Delete Cookies, Click Delete Files and select Delete all Offline content too, Click OK. When it finishes Click OK.
Now reboot in normal mode and post a new HJT log.

Make sure you tell me how things are working now.

Reminder Note: Once we have determined you are malware free you will need to disable System Restore, reboot, and re-enable system restore per step 1 of the READ & RUN ME. This only applies to if using WinXP or WinMe.

    Thanks for the help.
I just got off work and performed your instructions.
The computer seems like web browsers are "rendering" pages at a normal pace again, but I had little sign of infection other than that.
I went ahead and disabled system restore, then created a new restore point.
The two entries do not appear in the fresh hjt log.
    Thanks again,
    Andrew
