    Hi

Seems an OK-ish application, did find many duplicate files, however I still would not use it over using one of the many freebie applications like Glary Utilities ( dlb a member here likes this one so took his recomendation a while back ) that do the same job! and for me its very quick app that also has other features.

Personally give Glary Utilities a go before you decide to spend $27 on a software application, even if No-Clone goes deeper in the duplicates it finds, the majority of duplicates are zero byte files.

Be careful when you delete duplicates. Some of them may be hardcoded into registry so deleting them may render some software useless. Even 0-byte files may have their purposes such as a placeholder for future use.

Personally, I couldn't care less about a few gigabytes if that's what keep my Windows humming along. The things that should be deleted are cookies, history, temp folders, etc. that can reveal your habits/activities.

The Glary Utilities program worked wonderfully for me.

It worked perfectly after I wiped and reinstalled XP. Somehow every single one of my 4,000 + music files got duplicated. What a nightmare.

I ran Glary, and it was SO fast compared to some free trials I attempted first. I then used it to go through my images, and there were certainly duplicates there too. Great software for these simple things. It also doesn't have any restrictions - it is truely free. There are a ton of other tools that came with it, and I'm anxious to explore those.

    Thanks, Halo and DLB.
    Cheers.

I recently downloaded and used a free programme called 'Duplicate Cleaner' I think (I'll check when I get home tonight).

Superb, and an absolute cinch to use which is great for a computer illiterate like me.
