Removing Java

    I'm going through the process of removing a virus/malware etc... I'm on step 6a where it asks me to "Before installing current version, you should uninstall all previous versions first !!!!

    My question is HOW do I do this ?http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/redface.gif

    Hi Jerry B

    Goto Control Panel > Add/Remove and uninstall any older versions of Java Runtime in the list, then install the new version, which is linked in the guide.

    Hi

    In that case its most likely you do not have Sun Java Runtime Installed, so install the latest version and continue with the guide them post your logs in this open thread.
