Hi, while cleaning up my Add/Remove Program list, I noticed I have 4 kinds of Microsoft Framework .NET:

    2.0 Service Pack 2
    3.0 Service Pack 2
    3.5 SP1
    and
    4 Client Profile

Can I remove some of these?

    Thanks in advance,

    Tink

It would depend on what applications you're running and whether any of the applications require .NET Framework.

I, myself, am running an app that requires 2.0 and another that requires 4. Windows Update will automatically install updates for 2.0 and if you have 2 & 4 installed, it will install 3 and 3.5 along with the updates for them.

I think it's a good idea to leave them, since more and more programs are requiring .NET 4. I would categorize them as very good updates, based on my experiences with Windonws XP...
