Removing Office 2000

    Ok I have put Office 2003 on my computer (XP) but Office 2000 is still there. I need the disk to remove it which I have lost. help?

    Microsoft makes a utility for this called
    "Office 2000 file and registry eraser".

    You can find it here, about half way down the page.
    There's plenty of help links on this page as well.

    ahh cheers. that doesnt work for XP though annoyingly.

    Can anyone help with this? my computer has no space left and i really need rid of it. many thanks in advance.

    ok tried that and it seems to have removed it but my disk space is unchanged and office 2000 is supposed to be worth 500+ MB which i expected to gain back???

    It didn't actually remove Office 2000, it just removes all the registry entries for Office 2000. You can delete the folders.
