removing spyware.cyberlog.x

I was just infected with this malware lastnight. I have already viewed the malware removal guide.

In STEP 1

I have already tried running spybot search and destory-no success

I cannot empty my quarantine folder for applications because they will not start

I emptied the recycle bin.

I am not a Norton User(only antivirus which i can not open right now)

I can not download anything because the malware will not allow me to open internet explorer or access the internet.

STEP 2.

I succesfully made all files visible.

STEP 3.

I cannot download anything.

I am running Windows XP. I have run spybot search and destroy and adware.

I run Norton Antivirus and Use Comodo Firewall.

I am able to connect to my wireless connection however it will not let me connect to the internet in any form.

I deleted the original program through add/remove. But the problem continued.

I am on a second computer posting this.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
