In the middle of installing windows xp 64 bit via cd, when it asked for code I could not find it. How do I remove this 64 bit and install xp professional which I have? Thanks.

put your windows xp install cd into the cd-rom drive, reboot your pc and boot off cd.

delete all previous partitions and just do a clean install

can you go into your BIOs and set your cdrom/dvdrom drive as the First boot sequence?

Remember you have to press any key when prompted:

"Press any key to boot from CD/DVD..."

    maybe cd is scratched?
It sees the windows xp 64bit CD just fine?
