    Hi all,
I currently have a 128MB Nvidia TI4200 AGP 4X videocard. I wanted to upgrade, so I went and bought a 256 MB ATi Radeon AGP 8X/4X X1300 PRO.
    My question is this:
Is it a good move to switch from Nvidia to ATI? Will it mess up my computer?
Or will everything be fine when I put the X1300 card in? I was all set to install this, and then I got worried that because my computer currently uses NVidia drivers and I am replacing the video card with the ATI version, that I would screw it up.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

It should work fine once you add the ATI driver

So, basically take the old video card out, put the new one in, put the installation CD in and let it do it's thing?

    Yes, that should do it.

Just read and follow your installation guide...that should keep you safe.
